Lee Birch is a qualified secondary school teacher and career counsellor. She has a warm and engaging approach, with vast experience supporting students and adults through academic challenges, career transitions and career planning phases. Lee has a passion for providing individualised career and academic support to adults and adolescents (14+), with a specific focus on building confidence, discovering career goals, identifying a career direction that best aligns with your values, and coaching individuals through career changes and transitions. In addition to these areas, Lee has a deep interest in supporting women looking to return to the workforce after transitional periods (including parental leave, workforce breaks, and life changes). Lee also provides individual academic tutoring to students (senior school and university level) seeking assistance with English and Humanities.

Lee’s academic background and hands-on experience give her a profound understanding of the learning process and the unique challenges that adults and students face. With experience teaching English and Humanities at a number of High Schools on the Sunshine Coast, she draws on her flexible and warm nature to meaningfully connect with and inspire students. Her role in providing career counselling services has allowed her to effectively support individuals in navigating their futures and career transitions.

Lee holds a Master of Education in Guidance and Career Counselling, and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary English Teaching and Adult and Workplace Education from the Queensland University of Technology.
